THE LASCAUX CAVE
The Lascaux cave is located in the commune of Montignac, a little way from the largest concentration of prehistoric remains in Europe. Lascaux is undoubtedly the most remarkable site. It is the masterpiece of prehistory. This priceless treasure is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
THE PADIRAC CHASM
The Gouffre de Padirac, France’s first underground site, takes you on a timeless journey. Take advantage of 2.2 kilometres of underground passages, half of which you can visit by boat, to explore galleries that leave you speechless in front of impressive stalactites and stalagmites, and nooks and crannies each more surprising than the last.
THE LACAVE CAVES
Since 1961, the cave has been accessible by electric train. The train climbs 400 metres to the heart of the hill. Then, accompanied by a guide, you’ll discover a succession of twelve rooms. You’ll be dazzled by the fantastic landscapes that unfold before your eyes, particularly in the Hall of Wonders.
